On the other hand Workstation is a machine which consists of CPU, motherboard, RAM, and CPU/MIPS, keyboard, optical scanner for capturing images, video card, sound card for output and input, USB, power supply for CPU etc. These machines can be used to perform multiple tasks like typing, printing, viewing documents etc. These machines are widely used in work stations, offices, home, education etc. These information technology management approaches are broadly divided into two categories which are enterprise and open. Open IT service management frameworks are the result of the efforts made by IT managers and developers over the last few years to implement change and make IT services more dynamic. These open IT service management frameworks are more flexible and allow a company to make rapid changes in their IT policies without having to wait for a long time to implement them. However, it may turn out to be ineffective for organizations which are not well prepared for making these radical changes. Hence, the open IT management frameworks offered at the Compugen are also known as WAN. On the other hand, enterprise IT service management frameworks attempt to make IT investments more effective and efficient by integrating the different processes and tools that exist in an organization. These processes are generally categorized as follows: Operational IT, Services IT, Customer IT, Business Process IT, Project ITIL and Knowledge IT. These IT processes form an organic whole, which aims at delivering solutions to organizations on a daily basis. Enterprise IT services leverage all IT resources and work on the projects as a whole. This framework enables organizations to build large-scale IT systems that offer reliable, scalable and secure services to their customers. There are two broad IT management approaches, which are based on demos and software life cycle (SLC). Devops approach aims to reap maximum benefit from the IT investment. On the other hand, SLC approaches make IT investments more efficient. Most of the software development and deployment activities in an organization are based on SLC. These IT management frameworks aim at making IT investments more productive by removing the extra step involved in the process. The frameworks make the deployment of applications more streamlined by removing the extra step of data migration from the end user's point of view. The IT service management frameworks are designed to improve the IT service delivery cycle. These IT service management frameworks were introduced to help businesses implement quality systems with shorter period of service, improving the business process framework and meeting the regulatory requirements for the longer period of service. This resulted in IT investments that translated into tangible benefits to the customers by reducing the process cycle time, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction. These IT service management frameworks have been developed by various consulting firms based in the US. Learn more about technology here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_technology.
